Conventions of Our Chosen Genre

Our group have chosen the horror genre for our film opening. Collectively, we have all watched a great number of horror films and so believe we have a good knowledge in this genre. This is a good research method as we can pinpoint the good points of the film and adopt them into our own. Upon further research, we found there were lots of sub-genres that we could choose from, meaning we can make our film opening more specific to our target audience.
